Who we are and what this covers
Timerizer is operated by Firebrand Creative Studio in Portland, Oregon. This Privacy Policy covers timerizer.com, app.timerizer.com, account authentication at accounts.timerizer.com, and the Timerizer Stream Deck integration. Contact us at hello@timerizer.com.
Information you provide
We collect your email address and account credentials when you register. Your profile may include your name, company, website, and Timerizer use category. We store the clients, customers, companies, programs, project owners, projects, tags, billable settings, timer activity, time entries, pinned timers, and preferences you save. Contact forms collect your name, email address, and message. Do not enter sensitive personal information or information you are not authorized to share.
Device, session, and usage information
Our servers and service providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP addresses, request times, browser information, and error or security logs. Essential cookies maintain your session and remember cookie choices. Local storage and your account save preferences such as theme, font size, and time zone. Stream Deck connects using a device token that you create. We store token hashes rather than the full token.
How we use information
We use information to provide accounts and time tracking, save and report your work, provide downloads, process purchases, respond to messages, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We send account confirmations, password resets, and other service messages needed for your account. These messages are separate from optional marketing.
ActiveCampaign and marketing choices
Every new signup is sent to Firebrand Creative’s ActiveCampaign account, including your email and the profile details you provide. Company details can be associated with an ActiveCampaign Account. We apply a Timerizer signup tag. Profile updates may update that contact record. This operational sync does not by itself subscribe you to marketing email.
If you select the optional marketing checkbox, we record your consent and add you to the Timerizer Subscription list. You can change your preference in Settings or use an unsubscribe link in a marketing email. Contact messages are delivered to Firebrand Creative and may create or update an ActiveCampaign contact. Sending a contact message does not subscribe you to marketing.
Cookies and analytics
Optional analytics runs after you allow analytics cookies. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure page views, signups, and completed plugin purchases. Google may process device and browser information, IP-derived location, identifiers, and interaction data. Purchase events include a transaction identifier, amount, currency, and product information. Our analytics events do not intentionally include email addresses, client names, project names, or contact messages. Page addresses used in our custom events exclude query strings and fragments.
Use Cookie preferences in the footer to allow or withdraw optional cookies. Declining analytics does not prevent core time tracking. Facebook Pixel is not currently installed. Marketing cookie consent is separate from consent to receive marketing email.
Payments and purchases
Stripe processes payments for purchases offered through Firebrand Creative’s store. We do not store full payment card numbers. We keep purchase identifiers, amount, currency, payment status, and the account linked to a purchase so we can provide downloads, support purchases, and update access after refunds. Stripe processes payment and fraud-prevention information under its Privacy Policy.
When information is shared
We use service providers for server hosting, self-hosted Supabase authentication and database services, email delivery, ActiveCampaign contact management, Stripe payments, and consent-based Google analytics. They process information needed for their work. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable protections. We do not sell account profiles, contact messages, or tracked work to data brokers. We do not use tracked client or project content for targeted advertising.
Storage, retention, and security
We retain account and time-tracking records while needed to provide your account. Contact records, purchase records, logs, and backups may remain as needed for support, security, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Retention depends on the record and purpose. Deletion requests may be subject to these needs, and backup copies may remain until replaced or removed through backup maintenance.
We use access controls, encrypted web connections, and account protections to help protect information. No system can guarantee complete security. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, where privacy laws may differ.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can edit profile details and preferences in Settings, revoke device tokens, and export report data as CSV. Email hello@timerizer.com to request access, correction, a copy of account information, or account deletion. We may verify your identity before acting. Tell us the account email and the request, but do not send passwords or API tokens.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a privacy-request decision. Contact the same address to appeal and explain your concern. You may also contact your local privacy regulator. We do not penalize you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Children
Timerizer is intended for adult business and professional use. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can review and address it.
Changes and contact
